Für Leute, die ähnliche Themen bearbeiten oder einfach nur an veschiedenen Themen zur Herz-Kreislaufdiagnostik interessiert sind, werde ich meine Publikationen nach und nach ins Netz stellen. So wie ich mit der Umwandlung in ein WWW-taugliches Format nachkomme. Wer einen Artikel schneller benötigt, kann mir mailen. Ich werde irgendeine (schnelle) Lösung finden.

PublicationsIn profession I work in research and development for medical diagnostic devices. The special field is the cardiovascular diagnosis. Below there is a (just unfinished, without patents) list of my publications (mixed german/english). As I find the time I convert the missing scripts into an online format. English abstract of the above german article: Strategy for the optimization of the VV-delay biventricular pacemakers with impedance cardiography
Measurements with impedance cardiography show that the VV-Delay in biventricular pacemakers has a great influence on the cardiac output and the contractility of the heart. Therefore, it is necessary to check the individual VV-delay of every patient. A suitable method is the noninvasive and easy to use impedance cardiography. The optimization of the hemodynamic should base on the parameters Velocity Index, Acceleration Index and the O/C-Ratio. With respect to Stroke Volume and Cardiac Output we observed problems in the detection of the aortic valve closing due to unphysiological ejection pattern in some patients. Consequently these parameters are not reliable in all cases. After reprogramming the pacemaker an adaptation period of approx. 2-3 minutes has to be maintained before the hemodynamic state can be measured.
